Default Oxygen Source - Lawrenceville, GA

I am in the process of installing a oxygen tank in my RV8 and am looking for a source of oxygen in Lawerenceville GA area.

I have a transfilling hose and one local welding shop quoted me a tank rental at 39 cents\day ($142\year) plus $26 to swap the tanks. I am thinking I would need two 80 cu-ft tanks to make the transfilling process practical.

Should I buy some tanks and tranfill myself or is their a convienent scuba\medical store close by that is cost efficient? Am interested in what other locals are doing?

Thanks

Steve

Default OXY

The maintenance facility to the west of the resturant on the South side of the field serviced my bottle for $20.00 last fall. Can't remember the business name though.

Hope this helps get you started till you find a better solution.

same place.
I bought one tank, and I just exchange it. I believe this is common practice amongst welders but I cant be sure. You bring em a tank, and you pick up a different one.

While you buy the first tank, in the exchange process, you will probably never see that particular tank again.
