I am considering a possible re-location to the Tuscon area and I am interested in finding more information about airpark real estate in the area.

Gil is right but here is more information. Concerning your question about Tucson airparks, there are three with paved runways.
La Cholla Airpark, which is north of Tucson, 7 acre parcels sell for 700k and up. Older homes have recently sold for 1.5 mill and were considered tear downs.

Flying Diamond is south of Tucson, runway is 2900 ft, but most of the roads that lead to the airpark and the runway are dirt and rough. I'm not sure what parcels and homes are selling for at present.

Ruby Star Airpark has a 4000 ft chip seal paved runway, 8 acre parcels start at 170k, is located south of Tucson, but has had issues with the developer. I owned one parcel there but just bought a second parcel because, IMO, parcels there will eventually rise to the level of La Cholla. Ruby Star is at 4000ft of elevation which makes the summers cooler than Tucson. IMO, it's the best around.

There is a PROPOSED airpark known as Morningstar located about 50 miles east of Tucson but I'm not sure if the developer will get the necessary permits.

Yes, I have a real estate license (not terribly active) and also fly a 9A I just completed. I'm in Phase I with 31.5 unbelievably enjoyable hours thanks to Gil and others. I go up almost every day since I got my airworthiness on Dec 15.

Morningstar is being developed by another Grumman Tiger owner who is based near Benson.

It looks like the approvals are under way, and just going through paperwork... the local county board (Cochise County) has given initial approval.

I didn't originally include it since it is about 80 road miles from Tucson... but it will be better organized as an airpark than the existing three choices...
