Default 8th AF Museum
Hi all!
Could anyone offer a good suggestion for a airport to fly into if one wanted to go see the 8th AF museum in Savannah?

KSAV is only a few miles from there. My plane is about 1 mile from the Mighty 8th. Let me know when you are headed down and I might be able to give you a ride from the airport to the museum.

Kirk,

Assuming you fly your -8 to KSAV, the FBO is right across from my office. I'm there M-F 7:00 - 15:30. My number there is 912-965-4328. It's a 10-minute trip from there to the museum.

I also live about 5 miles from the Mighty Eighth, and 7 from the airport. Home number is 912-748-7567.

e-mail (see public profile) and PM works too.

Be warned: if you call on me, I'll probably try to con you into swapping a ride in the Dakota Queen for one in my beat '96 Ranger!
