House Ways and Means Committee is voting on their own proposal for FAA reauthorization. Let's hope clear heads prevail

Interestingly, I just noticed this about my rep who is on the W&M committee and who I sent a letter to a couple weeks ago.

Am I reading this correctly?

Quote:
Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas, withdrew a proposed amendment that would have repealed the current ticket tax and replace it with a set departure fee coupled with a mileage charge. The amendment mirrored a proposal being pushed by passenger airlines.
Does that mean Kevin came over to our side?
