Looking to rent or borrow resurfacing grinder for cylinder

All,
I ran into an issue on my non RV aircraft. The exhaust port has eroded and can no longer seal between the gasket and the exhaust. I found tan powder on my spark plug and did a bubble check to comfirm.

My local A&P said to try to find a tool and do it on the plane without removing the cylinder. I don't want to spend this much money and only use the tool once.

I called this company and they no longer make the tool.http://www.widell.com/old_wid/pneuport.htm

Found one similar at spruce but dang!!!!!!! at least $700 by the time it gets to me.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

There's a rental available from a company in Wisconsin I believe it is. I used it on a 172 cylinder. It worked alright, not as good as one I had used a few years back though but it did get the job done. I am trying to find the receipt and contact info in my inbox but its proving difficult … standby

edit: found it …

There used to be a place called hangartoolbox.com that rented tools, unfortunately it seems to be gone now. Back in the 2013 timeframe I rented an Aerogrinder U-92 from them. It worked great on an old O-320. There appears to be one on ebay for sale now, looks rather complete but I couldn't say for sure. If you're up for an experiment:

For the mods: I'm not in any way affiliated with this ebay link, just trying to help Axel out. If you need to, feel free to delete.
