Aft Fuselage Systems Installation

I just finished routing the wires in the Aft Fuselage and I seem to of ran into what I believe to be a problem. When inspecting the P724 wire I saw that some of the internal wiring was visible (image attached). Initially I thought that it was supposed to be like this, so I went ahead and routed the wires, but upon further inspection to wire isn't even attached (it can be removed). I'm doubtful that it's supposed to be like this and I'm wondering if there's anything what should do (it came in the kit like this)? Currently the wire is just nestled together so it doesn't fall off. Lastly while installing the standard pitot static, the instructions state that the static port should be hollow, with the mandrel removed. After pop riveting the first port I have what looks like a little bit of the mandrel still in the port near the shop end of the rivet (image attached). It can move around so air can get in and out, but I'm not sure if it should be removed or not? Thanks!

Its not really clear to me what you are trying to say about the wire. It looks like the shield is not soldered to the green wire or it is poorly soldered. I can't tell from the picture. It should probably be redone, soldered and covered with heatshrink.

For the pop-rivet I would just take a small punch and carefully knock the remains out of the rivet.

Thanks! That's what I thought, I'm going to double to check with Van's about the wire and probably end up soldering it. As for the static port that's sounds right!

Don't be too quick to resolder. Take a look at the wire diagram and see if that shield is supposed to be connected to anything. Many shields are only grounded at one end.

What is this wire for? I don't have the diagram available to me at the moment so I can't say whether it is a problem or not.

Use a punch to knock out the mandrel in the rivet.
