You may have found a CFI by now, and I have limited experience, but here are some options:
- I'm training with Steve Purcell out of APA, and we definitely approach landings that way. Steve is experienced in many types of aircraft and he'll instruct in your aircraft. He's also very reasonably priced in case that's a factor too. His details are on this page:

- For BJC, you could try some of the CFIs who are part of the EAA chapter there: EAA 43. I know at least one of them is an RV7 pilot, and all of them have very impressive backgrounds. I'm not sure how many of them offer initial training, but it's worth a shot because of the EAA link. They are listed in the monthly newsletters here:
