Default RV10 Elastomers

At the last condition inspection I added the second U-1002 isolator washer. I thought I read somewhere the minimum stacked height of the 4 elastomers but can't find it anywhere. Maybe I was dreaming! Does anyone know if there is such a measurement? If not when are you with higher time planes changing them. I have almost 800 hours on the plane in 8 years,

Appreciate the help
Gary

I vaguely remember a max of two washers. After that they recommend replacing doughnuts. I think it is always four doughnuts.

I vaguely remember that too. IIRC the test is to pull the nose up off the ground, then try to pick up the nose wheel. There should be back pressure from the elastomers, e.g., no slack in the system.

Default 3 washers, max

SB 14-8-29, step 6, max of 3 washers. If more are needed, replace elastomers.

Thanks all...

Tim,
I knew I read it somewhere, forgot to look at SB 14-8-29 for the isolator info, looks like MAX of 3.
