Default taller stick?

Hey Gang,

For all you engineer types out there, has anyone thought of lengthening the elevator bell crank on the elevator end to allow for a shorter throw on the stick and therefore be able to make the stick taller without interfering with the panel? I know there would be some engineering thought to go into it and more stresses on the bearing as well as the bell crank.

I've seen the chats for stick bending and welding but would be curious if anyone has done this.

apparently I have T-rex arms and need to seriously slouch/lean forward to hit the full forward stop on the stick.

cheers
