I just watched a great video on Kitplanes, "Virtual Roundtable: Shops and Shop Spaces". These guys put together a very informative presentation that answers many common questions about the places where we spend many hours building.

Normally I easily find things to criticize in a video, but not this one! Really well done.

Given the self-imposed limits of working in my two car garage, one of my workbenches is a hollow core door on two carts. Lightweight, easy to move out of the way when I'm done, and besides, there are lots of jobs that do not require a robust work surface.
