Default Installation Info for RV-12 Baggage Upgrade Kit

Hi all,

I've got the parts and hardware labeled "Baggage Upgrade Kit" but I can't find any documentation on how to install it in my paper plans, my pdf's, or on the Van's website.

Can anyone point me towards the documentation for this minor upgrade?

What are people's opinions on whether or not this is worth doing? Do you find it useful?

Thanks,
Harry

Hi Harry!

I?m not familiar with that kit.

However, I?d call VAN?S tomorrow morning during their builder support hours, and I bet one of them can easily get you the needed documentation.

Hope that helps.

Best, Thomas

You may be referring to the Baggage Wall Upgrade Kit. For older planes, this upgrade allows you to inspect/access the tailcone without having to drain and remove the fuel tank. If so, here is a good link, http://www.vansairforce.com/communit...d.php?t=130945

Thanks very much for that info and those pics, Paul. That's really helpful, especially because I spoke to Van's tech support and found out that there are no instructions or drawings for the baggage wall upgrade kit. I could mostly figure out where things went but having your pictures makes it absolutely clear.

Thanks again,
Harry

Section 33 revised in Dec. 2015 shows the details of how it goes together.
