What is that BT connection used for?

I have the 345 (non remote) and it feeds attitude, position, heading, traffic, and all the ads-b in services via bluetooth to phones, tablets, and maybe other devices.

I did some digging through the manuals - with the latest equipment (GTX45R, GTN, G3X Touch), AHRS information comes from the PFD over bluetooth to the tablet, and weather/traffic would come from the GTX to the tablet. The one major caveat though - some (but not all) weather products also go from the GTX to the G3X over bluetooth! Trying to clarify the extent of that here: http://www.vansairforce.com/communit...d.php?t=167725

Default Mounted My GTX 45R on Sub-Panel

I mounted my GTX 45R on the sub-panel, mounted flat on the sub-panel facing down. This way the transponder can easily dropped out of its cage down into the foot well for easy removal/installation, and can be reached through the opening in the panel after removing PFD-2 in front of the co-pilot.

I put the ELT on the OP48 AHRS bracket that I installed in the tail cone before closing it up.
