Default question re; mounting flyLed boards

For the FlyLED nav/strobe boards, the instructions suggest just sticking them on with a double sided tape like what would be used for automotive trim.

Does that work ok or are most folks doing the alternate method i.e. drill a couple of holes through a non critical part of the board for screws?

Default mounting

i used epoxy and flox to mount a couple of nut plates on the front centerline and side centerline and top and bottom of corners of cutouts, 1 fly led board keeps the other from going anywhere. Landing light board has three screw holes, and position and stobe has one hole.

Default Tape

I used 3M double sided tape with no issues. No need to overthink it here.

3M tape is working fine for me, slightly not as easy to pull and work on them but no issues with them moving.

I also used the automotive double stick tape. Working well still after a year.
