I know how big the N numbers on the outside have to be 3 inches or 12 inches question does anybody know how big the N numbers have to be on the inside panel?

No requirement for N numbers to be inside.

BTW Outside N numbers may be 2" on RV-3, -4, and -6. ref: §45.22(b)(1).
