Source for bushings/spacers
Non-RV parts.
I am looking for a few bushings or spacers and have struck out at the usual places.
ASSCO's bushing stock is too big.
Their NAS43HT4 spacers list only their length, I could not find ID/OD, nor a spec on them.
Their 4130 round tubing was the closest I could find but will require reaming.
Grainger & McMasterCarr were silly-expensive and not any closer.
I need a couple of:
steel (almost any steel will do, but not stainless) spacers
ID 3/16"
OD 1/4"
length I can cut but 1/4" will be the goal.
There are others (flanged bushings) but let's start there.
I know everyone will want to know what it's for, but that won't help and honestly means a longer discussion than is necessary.
Thanks.

Keystone if it doesn't need to be steel.
RAF has some steel, but would need the hole opened up. (1124-8-S)
There are other suppliers. Google Circuit board spacers.

Oh, digikey.
I could ream those too.
The flanged bushings now.
Same dimensions but add a large area flat washer to it.

Ace
Before you order online, try the local Ace. They have a few bushings.

How many do you need, or how many inches of stock? I could turn some stock for you on the lathe. Do you want a 3/16ID or clearance hole for 3/16 bolt (#12)? That will be a pretty thin wall, so it may be hard to find in Steel. Stainless tube would get you pretty close. Either way, that this of a sidewall may not take full bolt torque without distortion.
