Ottawa, Canada - Mo's Fly-in Feb 29, 2020
Looks like Mo's Fly-in is ON again this year. The ice runway is plowed. Only a 10 minute flight for us, but we are sure looking forward to it again this year.
Now just hoping for good weather on Saturday.
Located one nm west of the YOW vor, on the Ottawa River.
Runway fly-by and landing test was performed this past Sunday Feb 23:

Hi Alfio, do you think they will be able to get the runway plowed again after the snowstorm?
Really hoping that the weather clears for Saturday, looks like it may just do that.
Would you know what the street address is for Mo?s place? My daughter will be driving to meet us there.
Thanks in advance, Terry

I will attempt to provide an update, if/when I get one, and will post it here.
I don't have Mo's address, however your daughter can call the phone number on the poster for information: 819 682-5273

3,300 feet of runway ...
I just got off the phone with our host, Maurice (Mo). He tells me that the runway is all plowed and according to him, wheeled planes should be fine on it. Caveat Emptor though.
Runway is 34, with 3,300 feet long and 100 feet wide. He plans to add a bit of sand on it in case the wind causes challenges for some.
Forecast ceiling for tomorrow is 2,000 ft with 6+ visibility. Some light snow is possible. Good to check the weather before leaving.
Looking forward to Mo's famous chili tomorrow.

Mo just published a short video (2 min.) of him running the plow this afternoon. Update ... it is 110 feet wide.

Commentary is in French, but it should give you an idea of the expected condition for tomorrow.
I just hope that our airport CYRP has been as diligent as Mo in clearing the snow.
