Arrow Dead SlickStart to take apart and share?

Hi VAF,

Does anyone have a dead SlickStart module that they'd be willing to donate for a photographic teardown here on VAF? I long been interested in what's inside of these and maybe other folks here are similarly curious.

Previously, I did a similar mechanical fuel pump teardown that you can find here on VAF. I was thinking of something in the same style:

Thanks!

Default Check with Dr. Dan

Have a look at the camera taser videos.

Most likely a capacitor(s) bank with a high frequency relay to rapidly recharge the capacitors.
Dr. Dan Horton could no doubt sketch up a plan for you.

But if your time is worth anything, just buy the factory SS units. They have done their homework and they work.
