Thumbs up Research into building RV-10 Lonview, TX

I am currently performing due diligence before pulling the trigger on my RV-10 project. I would like to visit other builders in my area if possible. I would like to stay within a 100 mile radius. I currently fly an M20J and new to the VAF site.

I have a buddy in Lufkin who has a really nice RV-10. I work in Longview so maybe we could meet up and arrange to go down and see it? I?m a repeat offender. Just built a RV-4 and about to start a RV-6A.

Default Welcome to VAF

Carl, welcome aboard the good ship VAF

The 10 is a great plane, cant go wrong with it IMHO.

If you are close to Pecan Plantation, there is at least one RV 10 there.

Send him a PM.

I nest my M20J at KGGG and will take any opportunity to talk and research my project. All I need is any reason to take flight. I will admit I am still learning my way around the VAF site.

I'm well outside 100 miles in New Braunfels, but would love to visit with you about the project. I too fly a M20J (for over 10 years) and been building a RV-10 for 2 3/4 years. It's a much further flight in the Mooney, but you're welcome to visit anytime. I'm not finished yet, but far enough along to offer some insights.
