Default AF5400 Skid/Slip Ball
.... is slightly off center when the airplane is stationary on the ground and I assume therefore that there is also an offset when in coordinated flight.

Does anyone know of an installation issue or calibration setting that could effect the Skid/Slip Ball in this way please?

The AF5400 has an external ADAHRS.

Default Check installation manual
I have Dynon systems which also have an external ADAHRS. For the Dynon system the ball is set by leveling the mounting of the ADAHRS itself with the aircraft leveled exactly on the ground. I suspect yours is the same method but check the installation manual to be sure.

Leveling the ADAHRS fixed the issue. Thank you Rob & Skysailor.
