-7 Fuselage Stringer Placement

Hello crew. Looking at how the lower stringers on the -7 lower fuselage interact with the F-779 Tail Bottom Skin. Do the stringers fit between the side skins and the -779 skin or do they only lay over the -779?

If the stringers lay over the -779 skin, there seems to be quite a step as they transition from that skin to the -773 Side Skins.

Not sure what you mean by "stringers". What stringers?
The bottom skin (778) has a formed set of J-channels.

From outside to inside at the 710 bulkhead rivet line...
Side skin (773) is outside, Bottom skin (778) is next, Aft tail skin (779) inside then bulkhead (710).
There are two J-channels but they go through the bulkhead so they are inside the skins.

I believe we are on the same page, just slightly different lingo. The Vans prints call them F-786C J Stiffeners.

In general I find it best to stick with the Van?s naming convention for parts when requestioning help on the forum. At times being even more explicit with part number can be helpful too it you know it.
