Default Fabricating alternator bracket

What is the thickness of boss mount alternator brackets, most examples I've looked at seem to be maybe 3/8", but I'm not sure and I don't have one in hand to look at? I have a new hydraulic press and I think this would be a good part to fabricate myself, I can dial in the width, or make custom widths as well.

Default Alt brackets

Main bracket 1/4 in thick, 1 1/4 in and 1/2 in spacers. The two support brackets are 3/16 in thick.
