Default position/nav/strobe

I am looking to see what the replacement for my 6A's postition/nav/strobe
would be now that Aeroflash is out of business. I understand that ACS and
others might have parts/kits available still but was wondering if there is a more
modern lower current draw replacement. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Default Wheelen

I have Wheelen Microburst III's, and Wheelen LED landing lights on my RV6A. I recently went through an electrical anomaly in my airplane and Wheelen customer service was Excellent. They actually went above and beyond in my case. I can't recommend them enough as a company to do business with. Great products too.

Default Went with Whelen Orions ---

expensive, but they are bright enough to burn your eyeballs --- I understand the Flyleds have been a good option for a lot of folks --

Gene,
I love my Z-Tron Labs LED strobe/pos lites, a lot of bang for reasonable bucks. However, like Aeroflash, Ztron has been offline for sometime now.
When they fail I’m considering these three...

Default Flyleds too!

Not flying yet, but fitted and tested Flyleds.
They are a great product, easy to fit, and good value.

My Ztrons both failed. They replaced the first but by the time the second failed they were gone. Went to FlyLEDs and haven?t looked back.

Didn?t the latest issue of kitplanes have an article about converting Whelen style tip lights to led?s? Looked like an interesting project for sure. Not sure about cost but lower current draw for sure.

AeroLEDs. They?ve worked flawlessly for 750 hours so far.

+1 for Whelen LEDs. I replaced my Aeroflash with Whelen LEDs a couple years ago, no modifications necessary. I also upgraded the landing light to a Whelen LED. Ron is right, they will burn your eyeballs.
