Default Panel Downloads

I am getting close to the Dynon HDX downloads and am curious as to the method at my shop without internet. Can they be loaded onto USB thumb drives at home and transferred to the panel?

Be sure to use a thumb drive of the appropriate type and capacity. The basic Dynon monthly data update is pretty basic -- I believe that a suitable thumb drive is included with the Dynon Skyview unit. However, if you are using Seattle Avionics chart data you need a larger capacity, appropriately-sized thumb drive (see their literature for details). I use two thumb drives for my 5-year-old Skyview Classic and SA data.
