+1 I got this one after reading about the communications.

Disclaimer: I don't know if it is better than others. I have not tested the USB power with instrumentation.

Yes, it does seem like most of the expensive ones at ACS are FAA-TSO'd.

seems like I saw one on Amazon, but can't find it right now. I assumed that one was a PT-Barnum type of thing.

Default USB / USB-C

I just swapped out my cigarette lighter power plug for a dual USB plug a couple of weeks ago. I did the Blue Sea plug.

Then this past week, I finally upgraded my Ipad to the new Ipad Pro. I knew the Ipad Pro used a USB-C connector but what I didn't know is that the cable that comes with the Ipad is USB-C on both ends! So now I have to buy a USB-C to USB cable or dongle for the plane.

So what's my point? If you can find a dual plug with USB & USB-C you may find the USB-C very useful in the future.

Default Blue sea

I concur with the Blue Sea one, designed for a harsh environment, many boats also have noise sensitive devices. I also have a cigarette type too. With a ifly, a handheld com and a old battery eating avmap they come in handy.
