You can refer to this thread on my electrical build. It has a number of photos. If you want high resolution photos let me know.
As for good or bad, you can decide. So far, I haven't caught anyone's pants on fire.

You can look on-line for the standard itself...it's NASA-STD-8739.4, Crimping, Interconnecting Cables, Harnesses, and Wiring
