She's all done now
The first flight was on August 2, 2018. I completed the flight testing in early October and then flew the aircraft up to Hibbing for paint job at Midwest Aircraft Refinishers. The guys did a great job with the paint job, which is meant to honor an American hero, Col Bud Anderson.

Very cool, you don't see those schemes on the side by sides too much, it came out really good!

Beautiful !!! I have to share this: I flew a UH-60 Blackhawk into Clark County Indiana (JVY) many years ago to an Air Show and got to meet, talk to, and hang out with COL Bud Anderson, and BG Chuck Yeager !! What an awesome experience! I stood close and listened to these two brief each other about flyby's they were going to do later in a few borrowed P-51 Mustangs. Earlier a bystander asked BG Yeager why he didn't own a P-51 of his own, and his reply was "Why, I can fly anybody's I want" !! We all had a good laugh at the truth in that statement! I'm pretty sure that COL Anderson actually had more air to air kills than Yeager. It's unreal standing next to and talking to guys that are true American Legends.

I used to look forward to seeing Bud Anderson and Chuck Yeager fly together at Oshkosh. It was one of those years I had the privilege of meeting Col Anderson. In spite of all his accomplishments as an Air Force pilot, he is always very humble. He is also a very good story teller.
All the graphics are vinyl. Midwest Aircraft Refinishers have a really good design consultant, that works with the customer to create the design you have envisioned.
Thanks for the positive comments!
