Default Wooden tool cart

Can't find the pictures of that gorgeous tool cart that had everything on the top and air tools in holsters on the sides. My search skills are obviously not up to snuff...

Thanks!

Ed

Ron Schreck had posted about a nice one, but the photos seem to have gone bye-bye.

That's sick.

(and I'm so wanting to build my own! I sure hate how all the tools go hide when you put them down.)

Default Are plans available?

Hello, plans would be great, showing the tool placement etc. Since building and using it, what would you change?

This looks like an awesome project while I wait for my RV-10 project to be moved from NJ to FL.

Sorry, no plans. The cart is an old stainless steel cart from a doctor's office. The end caps are white board over 1/2 inch plywood, both from Lowe's. I got square bend hooks from Amazon to hang all the tools on.

You can get storage boxes in any size you like from Amazon:

You can use different sizes of PVC pipe to hold small items. The socket holders are from Sears (if they are still in business).

No point in making plans as everyone has different tools and different ideas about how to get organized. Have fun!

Ron was the inspiration for my copy, which I'm very happy with. No need for me to post pics since his are better.

I didn't have a cast-off stainless steel cart to serve as a foundation, so I used a molded plastic cart from Harbor Freight. It was close to the same size.

HF also has a metal cart (I think it's the red one in Ron's pictures) that I used for a plans holder cart. Given its wobbly nature, I do NOT recommend it as a basis for the tool cart. The molded plastic one is much sturdier, and makes a nice set-up.
