Default HS-00003 Material

Does anyone know what material The spar Doubler HS-00003 is? I?m going to have to make my own I can?t get the edge distance from the ones provided in the kit.

Call vans they will sell you a blank sheet of aluminum that they make the doublers out of. I did that because I had to make one doubler from scratch to finish my rv-7 horizontal stabilizer

Just checking that you've seen the edge distance amendment added to the SB? (Page 21).

I had an old version of the SB and ended up replacing my doublers without needing to. The amendment states a lower ED margin (lower than mil spec) and adding extra rivet locations in the event that the ED's aren't met. Might save you some re-work..
