Default Closing up the top forward skin

I've put off closing the top forward skin while the engine and avionics gets in and proven. I've been dreading taking off the canopy hinges and crawling in to close up the space

On another thread about closing tanks:

Spruce has the 43H, which I think is what we used.

I figure I'd have to ask Vans if these are acceptable but I wonder what they would look like installed there. Ugly? Ok? What do they look like under paint?

Does anyone know?
