Default B-"Double E"-"Double R"-U-N Beer Run!

Work was kinda slow today. (OK is wasn't, but the weather was nice and Buddy Malibu had a mission, and I just left.......)

Malibu's boys and my Little Kate attend Iowa State, just like Malibu and our wives did, and it is Homecoming this weekend. Iowa is great, but the beer is lacking, so we figured we could get some forbidden treats from the Badger state to entertain the masses. We found an airport Equidistant from Malibu's home base at KBNW and my lair at KANE with a car and a supply of New Glarus' finest.

The B-EE-RR-U-N was hatched!

It's was just about an hour down the Big River, fall is in session......

Boscobel sits in the Wisconsin River valley, pretty as a picture....

They have said Car......

With club cab for cargo!

Malibu's nice 7A laden with libations......

Safety first in my -9A

Great ride home over the River.....

Mission Accomplished!

Pete, you're mellowing in your advancing age - I never saw you sit still long enough to drink one beer, let alone multiple cases...

The google be ornery tonight - only 2 pics showing. They'll review later tonight and decide if we get to see the others.

Aren't you supposed to be hauling puppies around?

Moving beer across state lines.....hmmmm.

The headline reminded me of a hash club. So now, you are a drinking club with a flying problem?

Pete,
I made a similar run a couple years ago only in the opposite direction.
I flew up to the MSP area to have lunch with a friend and his family. Of course he took me to the Surly brewery for lunch. I had an Arnold Palmer while he had a nice beer.
I did manage to pick up some nice brews from Surly to bring back home.
