Default Conduit passthrough under rear seats

The conduit coming from under the baggage floor forward needs to turn 90 degrees through the ribs under the rear seats then exit and go up and forward along the side wall. The distance between the ribs under the rear seats is 4 inches in the QB fuselage. How is one to make theses openings to pass them through in such limited space. Any ideas or experience.

A right angle drill with a unibit or else get a set of cheap metal knockout punches from Harbor Freight. https://www.harborfreight.com/knocko...-pc-60575.html A lot going on back there so I ended up running 4 conduits.

I ran mine all the way forward to the passenger foot well. The flap push rod cover allows lots of room to run cables to the side. You then will have access to them at a later date.

If I had to do it over, I think I'd do what Tom suggested about going forward into flap tube cover.

Here's what I did. 3 conduit runs per side. On that very last outboard rib under rear seats, I had just enough room to get angle drill and unibit in to cut holes.

Thumbs up

When you are putting in large conduits or even using the larger holes in the vertical parts of the mid and aft fuselage bulkheads, you can buy large diameter bushing easily.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Heyco-2240-...3/251966230238

All sizes available.

I found they were easier to use than trying to force the 'caterpillar' type edge protectors into a round hole.

Default Welcome to VAF

Grant, welcome aboard the good ship VAF

I ran mine straight forward, exiting inside the flap cover. Had to drill a hole in the panel just aft of the flap tube, used fittings from the aviation electrical isle at Lowes.

I should of copied Mikes solution. I ended up running them to the side like others and they are a pain to fish through. I also did 3 each side and will probably end up using all of them.
