Default 2 degree twist on longeron

On page 29-3 the plans call for a 2 degrees twist on the longeron. With an angle measurement tool I can barely see two degrees let alone measure it once the twist is done. Any suggestion?

What tool are you using? FWIW, most smart phone systems have free angle finder apps available that will resolve in tenths of a degree.

Another option is to do the trig calc for that angle over a significant distance (say, 12"), and measure linear distances. Similar to what many kits specify for setting wing angle of attack using a long straightedge & measuring height difference between leading & trailing edges.

This is exactly what I did, and it worked out great.

I used a digital level. They get pretty accurate up to .1 of a degree.
