Strut ends
Make shure that the ends are metal rather than the original plastic ends

Shepard struts
Any follow up on those who replaced their struts with Suspa c16-08941 with what I believe was 28lbs of force. Need to replace mine and would just like to confirm you are happy with them.
Thanks

I installed a set of these struts on my RV-6 last week. They work fine.

Struts
Thanks for the response guys, I wanted to make sure the heavier lift was affecting in an adverse way.

What I noticed after I replaced struts recently. Due to thousands of cycles opening/closing and general canopy wear the stronger struts caused "skin bites". Two times. That unnerving sound of crack so watch it closely after replacement.

Skin bites?
Do you mean the side skirts bind?
