Default Cowling Heatshield

I have one area on the lower left cowling for my 6A where I can get my current heatshield to stay attached (Heatshield Products). What's working out there?

I used this 17 years ago and it is holding up well.

That said, success with any of these products means starting with a clean surface.

Question

I used that on the backside of the firewall. How did you attach it to the cowl?

RTV, I believe. I think that was recommended in the instructions.

Regardless, it has worked.
