Default added weight from RV-8 paint job?

Has anyone put their RV on scales before and after a professional/clear-coat paint job, to determine the added weight?

This is consistent with what Jonathan McCormick at Evoke Aviation told me as well. About 10 lbs if the painter knows what he's doing!

20-years ago, I used same set of scales to weigh RV-6 after paint that I did before 1st flight. Weight increased 8-pounds so the number of 10-pounds sounds very reasonable to me.
