Default Gear Attachment Bar

Page 40A-04 attaching the Gear Attachment Bar.

I can see gold between the Gear Attachment Bar and the Gear Attachment Brace from the bolt when torqued to 170. I'm tempted to pull this in until the Gear Attachment Bar meets the Upper Gear Brace but after reviewing a few pics online it seems to be common.

I'm assuming that this is a pressure fitting since only the 1 bolt holds the leg to the airplane.

Opinions welcomed and TGIF!

It is designed for a gap.

If there was none, tolerances could allow the attachment bar to pull up tight and never clamp tight on the leg... and you would have no way to know.
