VS Base Fairing ?
Just fitted our VS's and notice there are gaps at the bottom where they meet the tailcone. Only around 1/4" where the skin oil cans a little.
Now I may be being dumb, but I have gone through the build instructions a couple of times and can't see any references to rubber edging, or similar. I even looked at my video on YouTube when I flew the 12 a few years ago and that seemed bare as well.
Am I missing anything or do we just leave the gap ?

The gap is standard and free of charge.
I used a flexible sealant kit.

Was wondering......
May use Tigerseal or similar PU paintable adhesive when assembled.

I used DAP 230 and a popsicle stick. Paintable, flexible and removable if ever needed. Available at your local AirCraft Hardware store.

Thanks - really surprised their isn't a simple rubber strip. I suppose it is all for lightness.
Problem is gaps at intersections can cause air leakage and loss of performance.
