Default Trim cable anchor brackets

I know the parts for the trim cable anchor brackets are chincy as supplied from Vans.
Page 9-7 step 4.

Whom is the current suppliers of the more robust form of these anchors?

Or just save your money and stick with the chincy stock parts. They work just fine.

I was advised that since Van's improved the welding of that part, that they are good to go. Maybe not as pretty as the billet ones though. I decided to spend the money elsewhere, there's plenty of opportunity for that.

Any reports of the new version of this bracket from Vans breaking?
