Default 6-Pack or PFD

In another post/poll, we were asked whether we prefer an EFIS display or 6-pack. That misses a salient point: You can configure an EFIS display to show a 6-pack.

Here's the ancillary question: Given the ability to select either a Primary Flight Display (PFD) or classic 6-pack your EFIS display, which do you prefer?

Disclosure: I use the PFD solely and religiously.

In my first build, my MGL efis had a six pack option.

I used it exclusively for first flight and about the next 25 hours back in 2010. Then I started to use the synthetic vision/PFD. I also dialed back most of the alerts to just the essential ones for first flight.

With my 14 and the G3x system I used the PFD right from the start. Of course, as far as I know, the G3x doesn't have a six pack option. Since I have been flying with an EFIS PFD for the last 7 years it was just natural to use it and I did not miss having a six pack option.

I have no wish to go back to a six pack panel, simulated or otherwise.
