Default Aeroshell Available at Airventure?

I can't seem to recall whether or not Aeroshell actually sells oil at Oshkosh...Do they? If so, is it a good deal?

I just called Perkins oil and here are the prices at the Aeroshell booth this year:

W100 $68.40 + Tax
W100+ $73.29 + Tax

That looks like a great deal to me if you can afford the weight on the trip home.

airplaneoil.com:
W100 $70.00 + $17.04 Shipping
W100+ $74.00 + $17.04 Shipping

Aircraft Spruce OSH Pickup
W100 $77.85 + Tax
W100+ $86.80 + Tax

Can't remember if it was last year or year before...ACS had free shipping from AirVenture...

Many other merchants do as well...

I bought a case and had it sent home...showed up about the same time I did.

Looks like $1 more per case from the AeroShell booth than I can pick up at my local oil distributor.

Maybe a local AeroShell distributor near you has a similar price.

I really hate to admit, but I have never thought about going directly to my local distributor. I called one and was quoted $72 for W100 and $77 for W100+. That $3.60/case difference isn't really worth the effort of having to lug the cases of oil from the Aeroshell Booth all the way to HBC and then fly it all the way back to Houston.

Thanks for the heads up!!!
