Default Bad Part? F-7114-R

Seems to me the part is bad as the holes don't line up with the holes in the spar carry through. The F-7114-L fits perfectly.

Yes it does look like a bad part. The holes for the wing attach bolts dont seem to be in line with each other on the gusset. Can you put the left and right gussets back to back and see if the holes mirror each other, if you know what I mean.

Could it be as easy as the flange towards the F-7101 is under-bent, causing the holes in the F-7114 to lean downwards ?

Default Adjust the flanges

Yep, I had to adjust the flanges on both of mine and they did fit.

Give Van's a ring, they have a list of problem parts.

We had a floor panel on one of the 12's that was under folded and wouldn't fit. A quick call, they said they were aware and a new one arrived within a few days.

If it has a mirror on the other side, compare and contrast. As we are building 2 12's, we could compare the same part and it was wrong.

I had this same issue. Spoke with Van's and they told me to adjust it to fit. I had to adjust both sides.
