Solid to pop rivet

There are a few of the AN426 3-3.5 solid flush rivets that I need to replace with a flush head/countersunk pop rivet.

Can anyone tell me which flush pop rivet can be used in its place and where they can be purchased?

I used the MK319BS blind rivets in place of the AN426-3-3.5 on a couple of places on the elevators. I match drilled and dimpled as normal. But oversized the hole to 1/8" after the dimple. Fits perfect.

But, I wouldn't just take my word for it. If the plans don't spell out an optional rivet, you could ask Van's.

Mark is correct. 1/8" is too large for MK319BS.

I use a #33 bit for the MK-319BS rivets. Pretty close to the 7/64.

Isn't the driven rivet head angle 100 degree while the pulled rivet is 120 degree?
No problem with a new hole as it can be dimpled to the 120 degree size from the beginning, but if used to replace a previously driven solid rivet it will probably sit much lower in the dimple.
