Default Dynon D-180 and fuel senders

Because I am planning to use auto fuel in my build I am going to convert to the float system from the previously installed capacitance system.

I am a bit confused by the Dynon EMS instructions concerning the fuel sending units. If you configure the Dynon for resistive, does the float systems from Van's simply need to be connected to pin 20 and 21, respectively, of the DB37, and the float bodies to ground?

This is exactly what Cessna did in the early years and, if so, I understand it. That system simply regulated the ground that the gauges saw.

Yes, that's exactly how it works.

Default Thanks for the reply

Never thought working on all those old Cessnas would carry over to the RV8.

I think it predates Cessnas and is more related to even older Stewart-Warner automobile gauges.
