Default Muffler Hanger Angles - Need Priming?

Hello All,

Do these muffler hanger angles need to be primed? I think they're steel, but I'm not sure.

Thanks,

Greg

At first I didn't but after they started to rust I did. But then again EVERYTHING rusts in my hangar, even plastic.

They probably do, and it'll need to be a high temp paint.

You can check with a magnet to see if they're some kind of steel.
