Default Real Continental vs Lycoming

So as not to derail that other C vs L thread, I'll ask the same question:

Why not a "real" Continental (6-cylinder IO-360) in place of the Lyc IO-390/360-A-series? They have similar weights and Van's has experience with them too. Remember the RV-10 prototype with the Conti IO-360?

Benefits should be lower vibration, a nicer exhaust note, and another source of donor engines (at least for us cheap guys who overhaul their own). Van's having already gone through with that effort on the -10 could probably come up with a F-F kit fairly easily.
