Panel Switch
I'm looking for a Panel Switch to match the existing trim switch in my RV12 (D180 model). I've found previous posts which call out K1ABAPCABA by OTTO Engineering, but that isn't the one I'm looking for.
This switch has no lights, and is spring loaded (Rocker type) both sides.
Does anyone know of a source and part number?
Thanks,

They can be purchased individually (no minimum order). I can't comment on how the price compares to other sources.
They aren't in the catalog... you have to call and ask for them.

If you want a switch exactly like the pitch trim switch, the part number is K2ABMAAAAA according to a
schematic given to me by Mike Miller 6 years ago (if I remember right). Van's probably sells it. Ask for it by part number.
Mouser has 4 of them in stock for $13.20 each plus shipping.
If that is not the switch that you want, a more detailed description is needed. Is it double pole or single pole,
double throw or single throw, illuminated or not, maintained or momentary?

Thanks
Thanks guys for your responses. Unfortunately none of these appear (going by the pictures) to be what I'm looking for. I'll call around on Monday and see if I can find it. I'll repost if I'm successful.

Should be the right one, per the data sheet...
Quick connect, black actuator, center off, up and down positions spring loaded, DPDT, no lights, markings or lenses.

Steve,
The series of Otto rocker switches used in the RV-12 are either K1 or K2 depending if they are single or double pole. The remaining letters in the part number mean things such light /no light/ the color of the light ect. So even though a picture of the product may not look as though it is what you want, because of the plethora of variations available you must go by the full part number for the switch. Below are two links to PDF files that spells out what every letter in the part number means for both K1 and K2 series Otto switches.
K1 switches: http://www.ottoexcellence.com/file.aspx?FileId=11830
K2 switches: http://www.ottoexcellence.com/file.aspx?FileId=11835
As an example, I wanted a fuel pump switch with a green light to match the other switches so I selected an Otto K1 ABAPCABA.
There is much more information available at the Otto site for the K1 and K2 series of rocker switches that can be obtained by looking here:
http://www.ottoexcellence.com/shop-b...rtment/rocker/
Hope the above helps.

I bought 2 of the green ones and they are only $2.50 each.
I got this web site from a friend that does a lot of wiring for the guys at the airport and he won't buy if he doesn't like the quality.

I've bought indicators with that same basic plastic design and found they have a weak spot where the threaded portion meets the back of the device.
Several broke during installation and I never used any of them.

Thanks to all who responded. I sure know a lot more about switches now than I did a few days ago. I need a Double Pole - Double Switch, and that equals to a K2ABMAAAAA. Thanks again.
