Default CFI recomendations Flight lessons for son's Birthday

My buddy wants to get his son flight lessons for his 17 birthday and asked me if I had any recommendations for who to go to . I dont know anybody, but figured I could ask around.

It would need to be near Scappoose or Hillsboro Oregon. Maybe Twin Oaks even. Anybody have a favorite recommendation?

I didn't think Mike Seager was into doing initial flight training, just transition training.

Default Twin Oaks

I am pretty sure Mike only does transition training.

I'm over at Twin Oaks, and glad to make a couple recommendations. Feel free to reach out to me via PM or email, but for starters I'd recommend John Finklea or Ron Larson. They both teach young folks quite a bit and are really good with them. If for whatever reason those guys are not available there are others there that are also quite good.
