Default Simsbury, Ct Fly in

Just a reminder that the Fly in / car show at 4B9, Simsbury, Ct is this Sunday, September 25th. 0800 - 1500. The forecast looks great! We usually have 100 - 150 planes fly in and 500 or so show cars. Vendors, food, etc. More info at www.simsburyflyin.com. Always some nice RVs flying in. Just remember the runway is closed from 1150 - 1320.

Default Looking good

I was killing some time between meetings on a work trip earlier today, and happened to stumble upon Simsbury. Based on the impressive preparation at the field, this will undoubtedly be a great event. You guys really seem to know how to create a quality experience for introducing "groundlings" to the wild blue yonder.

Wish I could stick around and join in on the fun!

Turbo, glad you can make it! There's a new spot for helicopter parking this year, Southwest end of the runway.

Looks like a great day for the fly-in / car show tomorrow. We have some real classic planes planning to come, some WW1 vintage, a Fairchild, etc. Hope you can make it, should have a great turn out!

Great event yesterday! We had around 100 planes and 500 show cars arrive for display. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it. It's the people that make these events successful. John, great to see you, Turbo, saw you from a distance, never got a chance to say hi.
Thanks again!
