Default Rear rudder pedals

Seems like the rear pedals position is configured for a size 12 shoe. Thinking about drilling a lower hole in the guides. Anyone else do something similar?

You're right, it's probably a bit of a stretch for normal feet to reach them comfortably, but I would caution you in lowering them. In my experience, if my GIB is someone with larger feet, there isn't a lot of room for them to keep their feet in a position to NOT interfere with the rudder pedals. I always have to put my hand on their toes and direct them to where the buttons are so they can keep clear of them when I'm flying from the front.

For the most part, I'm almost thinking of removing mine. The airplane really doesn't need rudder in a turn at speed and at altitude which is really the only time I relinquish control to the GIB.

Me? I wouldn't lower them. My dos centavos worth.

Here is what I did. If you look in the last pictures of the post below, you can see a shelf I made that has a leg that folds down and locks. This effectively removes the footwells when the rear passenger wants to use the rear rudder peddles. When not in use, the shelf leg folds up under the shelf and the self drops into the footwells.
