Default Fitting Skins

As I'm building the HS, I have to remove and replace the skins a couple times to mark things, trim, measure, etc. The ribs are doing a decent job of scratching the inside of the skins, which I will be priming before the final fitment anyway. Any suggestions on how to minimize the scratching? Should I use something like painters tape on the corners of the ribs, any other ideas?

Just be careful not to scratch them too deeply. You will be sanding and/or scotchbriting them before priming so it really isn't a problem unless its a gouge.

Default Ribs

Scotchbrite the nose end of the ribs so it's smooth. Helps reduce the depth of the scratching.
